We are thrilled to announce that Ted Osburn, one of the founding members of our firm, became a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers on March 8, 2025. The American College of Trial Lawyers is the preeminent association of trial lawyers in the United States. Candidates for admission to the College must have at least 15 years of trial advocacy experience and have taken numerous cases to trial before a jury before they are considered for admission, and they must have demonstrated the highest standards of trial advocacy, ethical conduct, integrity and professionalism. Admission to the College is by invitation only and the vetting process for admission to the College generally takes several years and is extremely selective. Only one percent of all lawyers in each state are granted admission.
In addition to his recent admission to the American College of Trial Attorneys, Ted has been recognized on numerous occasions by Super Lawyers. Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers which relies on peer reviews and evaluations. Recognition by Super Lawyers requires peer nominations and requires a demonstrated history of achievement. Ted also has achieved a rating of “AV Preeminent” by Martindale Hubble. Martindale Hubble also utilizes a peer review process for rating attorneys. “AV Preeminent” is the highest rating Martindale Hubble awards and signifies preeminent legal ability and the highest ethical standards. Only an elite group of about 10 percent of attorneys achieve this rating.
Congratulations, Ted!
